In the will of Katherine (Browne) Smith, lands "which were Anne Browne my moder of the whiche I was sole feoffed yn." Katherine also mentioned "the bequeaths of John Browne my broder." Therefore, it seems -- Browne married Anne --. Anne (and certainly her husband) were deceased by 1511, when Katherine made her will.

Anne’s children are:

  1. John Browne.
  2. Katherine Browne, called "Dame Katherin Smyth," married William Smith (son of John Smith, married 1) -- --, will made 29 Oct 1492 and proved 6 Feb 1492/3, resident of Stratford St. Mary, Suffolk, England), will made 24 Sep 1511 and proved 12 Jan 1511/2.
