Johannes de Hooges and Margarita Post
Johannes de Hooges was the son of Anthony de Hooges and Eva Alberts Bradt.[1] Johannes married Margarita Post 4 December 1675 in Kingston, Ulster, New York. Margarita was baptized 6 June 1657 in New Amsterdam, New Netherlands, the daughter of Adriaen Crijnen Post and Claartje Mookers. Johannes was made captain at Hurley on 24 Dec 1689, according to E. B. O'Callaghan (The Documentary History of the State of New York, vol. 1, Albany: Weed, Parsons, & Co., 1849, p. 350).

[1] Johannes was mentioned in a marriage contract between his mother and Roeloff Swartwout in which money was set aside and guardians were appointed for him and his siblings. Footnotes
[2] While I have not seen a baptismal record for Eva de Hooges, it is logical that she is Johannes and Margarita's eldest daughter, named, according to the traditional naming system after Johannes' mother, Eva. Notice that the second daughter is named after Margarita's mother, Claartje, and the eldest (and only) son is named after Johannes' father, Antoni.
[3] I have found no baptismal or marriage records for Marytje. The following baptism was found in the Albany, New York records: "Sept. 19. Johannes, of Willem Van Oostrande and Marytje De Hooges. Witnesses: Wynand and Catharina Van der Poel." Notice that the witnesses are Cathrina de Hooges, Johannes' daughter, and her husband, Wynant van der Poel.
