-- Schäfer and Anna Margaretha --

Anna Margaretha -- was born about 1733 in Meisenheim, Rheinland Palatinate, Germany. She married first -- Schäfer and second Matthias Kumpallo. Matthias was born about 1743 in Bernkastel, Rheinland Palatinate, Germany.

Anna Margaretha settled, along with her second husband and her children from her first marriage, in Louis, Samara, Russia 14 June 1766.

Anna Margaretha’s children by her first husband are:
  1. Nikolaus Schäfer, born about 1750 in Meisenheim, Rheinland Palatinate, Germany, married 1) -- --  and 2) Anna Maria Engel (b. abt. 1776 in Wittmann, Samara, Russia), moved to Graf, Samara, Russia in 1788, died in 1820 in Graf, Samara, Russia.
  2. Anna Barbara Schäfer, born about 1753 in Meisenheim, Rheinland Palatinate, Germany, married 1) Nikolaus Chaminé (b. abt. 1736 in Trier, Rheinland Palatinate, Germany, m. 1) Margaretha --) and 2) Martin Wilhelm (b. abt. 1754 - the 1798 census says from Louis, Samara, Russia but probably originally from Germany, d. 1829 in Graf, Samara, Russia), moved to Graf, Samara, Russia in 1788.
  3. Peter Schäfer, born about 1756 in Meisenheim, Rheinland Palatinate, Germany. In 1798, a Peter Schäfer was listed in Louis but it was noted that he was from Graf. However, there is no record of a Schäfer family in Graf in records prior to 1798 (when the families of Nikolaus and Anna Barbara above, both of whom moved to Graf in 1788, were listed there). It is likely that our Peter moved from Louis to Graf and back again. Is so, he married 1) -- -- (her existence is implied by the fact that Peter's second wife was far too young to be the mother of his eldest child) and 2) Margaretha Eckhardt (b. abt. 1777).
