Guillaume Caudebec and Marie Lesueur

Guillaume Caudebec was born in Bolbec, Pays de Caux, Normandy, France to Jacques Caudebec and Marie Viard. He was baptized 19 Oct 1636 in Lintot, Pays de Caux, Normandy, France. Guillaume married Marie Lesueur. Marie was baptized 5 March 1645 in Lintot, Pays de Caux, Normandy, France, the daughter of Jacques Lesueur and Marie Boissel. Guillaume was a master “chandelier epicier” (grocer-candle seller). Guillaume died in the summer of 1682 in Bolbec. An inventory was made 20 August and 8 October 1682. Marie was on a list of “new converts” in 1698 [1], where she was recorded as a resident of Bolbec. Two of her children, Guillaume and Anne, along with Anne's husband Pierre Castaigne, were also listed.

  3. Noemi Caudebec, born 18 Feb 1667, baptized 21 Feb 1667 in Lintot, Pays de Caux, Normandy, France, fled to England, made reconnaissance [2] 1 May 1687 at the Threadneedle Street French Church, London, England, married Bon Josson 3 Jul 1693 in St. James Church Duke's Place, London, Middlesex, England, buried 31 Jul 1741 at Christchurch, Spitalfields, Stepney Parish, London, Middlesex, England.
  4. Marie Caudebec, born 13 Jan 1669 in Bolbec, Pays de Caux, Normandy, France, baptized 15 Jan 1669 in Lintot, Pays de Caux, Normandy, France, fled to England, made reconnaissance 1 May 1687 at the Threadneedle Street French Church, London, England, not married, a weaveress, entered La Refuge hospital in London, died 17 Sep 1744 in London, Middlesex, England, buried 18 Sep 1744 at St. Luke's Old Street, London, Middlesex, England.
  5. Guillaume Caudebec, baptized 8 May 1671, baptized 10 May 1671 in Lintot, Pays de Caux, Normandy, France, buried 8 Aug 1671.
