Michael Hoffmann and Anna Maria Kuhn

Michael Hoffmann was born in 1810 in Graf, Saratov, Russia, probably the son of Johann Peter Hoffmann and Katherina Bauer (as there are no other Hoffmanns living in Graf in the 1798 or 1834 censuses).

Michael married Anna Maria Kuhn in 1829 in Graf, Samara, Russia. Anna Maria was born 30 April 1808 in Herzog, Samara, Russia to Johannes Kuhn and Catharina Dening. She was christened 3 May 1808.

Michael and Anna Maria's children are:

  1. Katherine Hoffman, born in 1829 in Graf, Saratov, Russia.
  2. Peter Hoffmann, born in 1831 in Graf, Saratov, Russia, married Anna Maria Klephan.
  3. Michael Hoffmann, born in 1833 in Graf, Saratov, Russia, married 1) Margaretha Schönberger and 2) Katharina Spies.
  4. Anna Maria Hoffman, born in 1835 in Graf, Saratov, Russia.
  5. Christoph (Christian) Hoffman, born in 1837 in Graf, Saratov, Russia, presumably married (wife's name unknown) as Margaretha Christophorovna (“daughter of Christophor”) appeared in the household of Christoph’s brother Michael as Michael’s niece.
  6. Margaretha Hoffman, born in 1840 in Graf, Saratov, Russia.
  7. Johannes Hoffman, born 12 Oct 1843 in Graf, Saratov, Russia, married 1) Anna Eva Schönberger 12 October 1863 in Rohleder, Mariental, Samara, Russia, 2) Anna Maria Kolbeck, and 3) Anna Maria Biehn.
  8. Jacob Hoffman, born in 1846 in Graf, Saratov, Russia.
