John Chenery and Emma --
John Chenery was the son of Thomas Chenery. John reported in a Chancery suit that he was only a year old when his father died, about 46 years before. The suit took place between 1544 and 1547, meaning that John was born about 1497-1500. John was of Kennett, Cambridgeshire, England and he married Emma --. John's will was written 25 October 1549 and proved 21 October 1550. He was buried in the Kennett churchyard, as stated in his son John's will. Emma's will was written 12 November 1558 (when she was apparently living in Moulton, Suffolk, England) and proved 8 June 1560.
