Jacob Pfeifer was born about 1615. Jacob married Eva Stenger 29 Oct 1641 at St. Martin’s Church, Orb (now Bad Orb), Main-Kinzig-Kreis, Hesse, Germany. Eva was of Bieber, Gelnhausen, Hesse, Germany. Jacob and Eva were Catholic.

Jacob was injured in a building collapse and died a week later on 4 June 1680 in Orb, Main-Kinzig-Kreis, Hesse, Germany: "4 June Jacob Pfeifer died, injured in the fall of a certain brick building, lingered for a week, extinguished in the end with almost no warning but was provided twice with the Sacrament of [St. Eulalia?], aged about 65."

According to the Bad Orb OFB, she was Maria Magdalena Pfeifer, who married a Johannes Adam Müller and died 2 May 1741 in Orb, Main-Kinzig-Kreis, Hesse, Germany. Only the Kirchenbuch and Familysearch are cited.
The Kirchenbuch shows that there was indeed an Adam Möller in Orb who had several children with a wife Magdalena, who died on 2 May 1741. However, it does not document Magdalena's maiden name or confirm that she was a Maria Magdalena or if Adam was a Johannes Adam. A search of Familysearch does not provide any additional insight into the source of this information.
However, an analysis of the witnesses named in the baptismal and marriage records of Adam and Magdalena Möller's children shows a high number of witnesses from the Pfeifer family. Therefore, a familial connection to the Pfeifer is possible.
