Konrad Schäfer and Elisabeta Schrill

Citing this biography: Boyd, Michelle, "Konrad Schäfer and Elisabeta Schrill," article, Olive and Eliza, last accessed [current date]."

Konrad Schäfer married Elisabeta Schrill. Elisabeta was born about 1735. It is not known where they lived but Elisabeta's second husband is recorded as coming from either the regions of Fulda or Pfalz and as Elisabeta and her children are recorded as arriving in Russia with him, they were probably from the same place.

Konrad died before 1766 and Elisabeta married second Johann Glitsch. Johann is listed as a tailor from Pfalz in the Kulberg List but a carpenter from Fulda in the First Settlers List. He was born about 1737.

The couple arrived with Elisabeta's two children in Russia from Lübeck, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany (their point of departure and not their origin) 8 August 1766. They settled in Köhler, Saratov, Russia 21 August 1767.

Konrad and Elisabeta’s children are:

1 Katharina Elisabeth Schäfer, born about 1755, married Adam Bretz, died 7 Jan 1812 in Köhler, Saratov, Russia.

Husband: Adam Bretz, b. abt. 1745.

Children: Adam Bretz, Johann Michael Bretz, Johann Heinrich Bretz, Georg Anton Bretz, Maria Katharina Bretz, Maria Barbara Bretz, and Katharina Bretz.

2 Georg Anton Schäfer, born about 1759, married 1) Maria Katharina Leister and 2) Catharina Elisabetha Bellentier in 1803 in Köhler, Saratov, Russia.

Wife 1: Maria Katharina Leister, born about 1757.

Wife 2: Catharina Elisabetha Bellentier, b. abt. 1780 to Johannes Pelletier and Anna Maria Schneider.
